Moorresburg Lions | Langtafel-ete In Die Park | 2020

Op 26 Februarie 2020 het Moorreesburg Lions ‘n Langtafel-ete in die park in Langstraat gehou.  Ongeveer 140 gaste het aangesit om ‘n  sesgang maaltyd te geniet. Aangesien die geleentheid ten bate van die ACVV ouetehuise op Moorreesburg gehou is, het die dorp saamgespan om die Lions te ondersteun. Nie eers die ysige suidewind kon die feestelike atmosfeer in die park doodwaai nie en die baie gewilde sangpaar Wynand en Cheree het die gaste se harte warm gesing.

I love winter weddings in the Western Cape. With their unique love story and recent setbacks Mr an Mrs Louw enjoyed every moment of this special occasion even more than per usual. Danica and her bridesmaids got ready at the picturesque Under Oaks Winery with the help of Delaney Siebert Makeup’s magic wand. Danica slipped into her elegant Anje Bridal Couture Dress, ready to marry the handsome Francois,waiting for her at the Helpmekaar Venue, just outside of Wellington. SMJ Verhurings was responsible for the comfort of all the guests attending, paying attention to detail with delicious food and beautiful flower arrangements.

While I was spending time with this lovely group of ladies, I realized once again, how scarce true and lasting friendships really are. We braved the Riebeeck Valley wind with finesse and a lot of laughter. After our adventure through the streets of Riebeeck Kasteel, tea was served at Cherry Lane in Malmesbury.
